Established In 1985

Stage Door Productions & Entertainments Agency was formed in early 1985 by Sean Glenn (real name Peter Wright). That first summer was spent in Filey, where Sean produced and directed two shows: "Variety Night", music, laughter and fun for all the family. Also "Magic of the Music Hall", a nostalgic journey down memory lane. Both were rapturously received by the national and local press and public alike.

In 1986 Stage Door Productions were invited back to Filey, where they presented "Summer Showtime", again to critical acclaim. 1986 also saw Sean Glenn produce and direct "Magic of the Music Hall" for the first Sheffield Festival in the Cavernous Octagon Theatre, where it was a 1400 seater sell-out.

2 More Great Shows With Excellent Reviews

1985 and 1986 also saw one or two of his other productions in theatres up and down the country. "The Magic of Mario Lanza" and "Comedy Capers", a comedy revue show. National Show business Paper "The Stage" gave it an excellent review.

Now Writing, Producing, Acting & Agent

More recently, as well as running his own entertainments agency, he writes, produces, directs and appears in his own Pantomines, Murder Mysteries, Variety shows and the ever popular "Magic of the Music Hall", all of which regularly attract high critical acclaim and re-bookings galore.

One Man Residential Homes Show

He is also happy and proud to present his own one man shows in Nursing and Residential Homes for the wonderfully appreciative senior citizens.

Appearances On Emmerdale & Peak Practice

As if all this wasn’t enough, he also finds time to act in television programmes such as "Emmerdale" and "Peak Practice" and recently played the character Claude Beasley in "Coronation Street".

BAFTA Nominated Film Role & Knight In The Court Series

He also had a leading role in the 2002 BAFTA nominated Ken Loach film "The Navigators", and his finest hour was to be cast as a knight in the court of King Lear, played by the late, great Sir Laurence Olivier for Granada TV.

Acclaimed Tenor

His tenor voice has won acclaim from every well known music critic and stage columnist.

Honoured In 1984 At London’s Guild Hall

After working in London in 1983/4 he was honoured in November 1984 at London’s Guild Hall by being bestowed The Freedom of the City of London. He can now drive his sheep over London Bridge with impunity and elect (should capital punishment ever return) to be hung with a silken rope.
